KeraVet Bio to sponsor continuing education course at Fetch Charlotte

KeraVet Bio is excited to announce that we will sponsor our first continuing education course this March at Fetch Charlotte.  “Wound” of Fortune!  Play the Game to “Salve” and Win! will be a fun, engaging educational experience delivered in a game show format by sought-after speaker Dr. Natalie Marks.  Please join us on Friday, March 15, from 2:45 – 3:45 pm EST.

Attendees will earn 1 hour of RACE-approved CE, and the program will begin a refresher on the pathophysiology around wound healing in dogs and cats.  This will include both gross and microscopic descriptions.  Attendees will then discuss different pain points around treating wounds.  This moves into physical factors that impede wound healing (e.g., immune suppression, inflammation, etc.) and emotional components like stress and anxiety.

Understanding what creates an ideal healing environment takes attendees towards an introduction to a new standard of wound care that considers our patients’ physical and emotional health.  The final section of the lecture will include case-based discussions with strategies for general and emergency practices around workflow implementation and client communication.

Following the presentation, attendees are encouraged to stop by the KeraVet Bio booth to learn more about what makes KeraVet Gel an innovative and novel product and how to purchase it. KeraVet Bio is a native North Carolina company in the Innovation Quarter of Winston-Salem and is excited to make its CE debut in our home state.

Fetch Charlotte will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center on March 15, 16, and 17.  To learn more about the event or to register, please click here
